Carrie Kaufman 

"Not unlike a pieced quilt, my collages are constructions of small forms that build on each other to become a complex image" explains artist Carrie Kaufman. Using bits and pieces of collected paper, fiber, paint and found objects, Kaufman produces very distinctive and livable work. Her years in Hawaii bring an Asian feel to her pieces, allowing her work to bend into almost any home environment. Carrie Kaufman is definitely an artist to watch.
