Steven Mcgovney

"Steven McGovney has been making art since childhood. Unfit for any other kind of work. He received an MFA from Otus Art Institute in 1973, and has shown in galleries nationwide ever since. Included in many collections of well known people, but he could just make that up and who would know. Enjoy this artwork, and thanks. 'OMG, this is my 40th year of making art.' Says McGovney, 'Thanks for letting me do what I do.'" In researching information for this bio, I came upon the above written by the artist himself. Understanding that I could not have said it any better, I am off to purchase a McGovney piece, just because I can.
